WCGK Overnight Camp: July 30 - August 2

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a SEATTLE DAY CAMP for people not interested in overnight camp.  The Camp will be 2 days and in August, it will be announced and online very soon.

Goalkeeper Camp meets Summer Camp!

Sign up for a goalkeeping experience unlike any other, as you get the best of both worlds though professional goalkeeper training and a true summer camp experience at Camp Waskowitz, located 30 minutes outside of Seattle. Stay in cabins, work with top Goalkeeper trainers, hang out by the campfire, small hikes, a pool for swimming with lifeguard (if you want)  and more while sharpening those skills and growing in an environment that celebrates and challenges your goalkeeper.   

Goalkeepers ages 10-18 (at time of camp) are welcome to sign up.

Each camper will receive: 
- Shirt for each day
- Pair of gloves (choices provided)
- Glove bag and limited edition gear

  • LOCATION: CAMP WASKOWITZ 45505 SE 150th St, North Bend, WA 98045
  • DATE:JULY 30th through AUGUST 2nd
  • CHECK-IN: 9 am to 10 am JULY 30th
  • CHECKOUT: 11 am AUGUST 2nd 

Campers will be grouped into Cabins of with Goalkeepers of the Similar age and gender the entire time.  Each Cabin will be led by a Camp Counselor/Coach, that will lead their Cabin to and from activities, food, and help them throughout their stay.  West Coast Goalkeeping maintains 10:1 or less ratio Campers to Adults. There will be an athletic trainer onsite at all times.

REFUND POLICY:

After MAY 30, 2024, Refunds are not permitted.

After JUNE 30, 2024, Cancellations are not permitted.

Glove Size Guidelines  

  • Goalkeeping Gloves should be worn slightly larger than hands
  • Fingers SHOULD NOT be touching the tip of the gloves
  • Removing Finger Protection will make a glove 1/2 size larger.
  • Reverse/Negative glove cuts are a snugger fit, so it's often best to go a size up if on the border.
  • If you have a larger frame/build, your palm may be larger, requiring a larger glove. Just email us, we are here to help!

How To Measure Your Hands:

Option 1:  Measure the circumference of the widest part of the palm measure the circumference of the widest part of the palm including the thumb. Round up to the next highest inch.

Option 2: ; Measure the length of the hand from tip of the middle finger to the base of the large thumb area where the keeper's thumb meets the wrist. Round up to the next highest inch.

Example:  7.5" rounds up to 8", so a 7 3/4 around hand is a size 8 glove.

Washing Your Gloves  

  • Immerse Gloves Completely with Warm Water (never hot)
  • Put Quarter Size Amount of Glove Wash on Each Palm
  • Work it in on the palm thoroughly, rinsing occasionally
  • Repeat if Neccessary
  • Add Same amount of Glove Wash INSIDE Glove and Water
  • Rinse until no bubbles are seen.
  • Wring Dry Removing All Excess Water
  • Hang Dry (do not put onto heat or in direct sunlight to dry)

Why Use Glove Wash  

  • Most Soaps contain Moisturizers which can harm gloves, West Coast Glove Soap is designed specifically for Gloves
  • Sweat & Dirt Break down your gloves, without cleaning them they won't last as long
  • Washing your gloves restores the grip, bringing back the grip
  • Washing your gloves softens them and makes them more comfortable
  • Dude the Smell... No one wants funky Gloves!

Best Gloves & Amazing Customer Service

My son loved their camp. I wish rural Oregon knew about it when he was younger. He's graduating this year and will miss soccer. Small towns are ao limited. The gloves are the best out there.

Definitely the best camp ive ever attended, with the college and high level coaches helping us with our technical skills aswell I would definitely hope this can happen again!
