Size Guide

One of our most popular new styles, the Quantum EXO Lockdown, lightweight, flexible and a negative cut. The Lockdown features an ultra flexible backhand, double elastic wrist, punch zone, negative palm and internal silicone grip - combined with our Supreme + 4mm German Latex for a great glove!

GRIP Pro German 4mm Ultra Supreme Latex

GRIP: Only the top Latex in the world - Pro German 4mm Ultra Supreme Latex. Specially Built for keepers that play on different fields conditions - Turf and Grass. Built for Dry Harsh conditions, and also made for light to medium wet conditions as well. Dampen Palms for best grip possible, wetting the Ultra Supreme Latex will activate the chemicals in the Latex as well as decrease the wear on the glove.

FINGER PROTECTION Removable FINGER + THUMB Saves

This glove includes finger + thumb saves with a convenient small flex pocket for quick removal. Finger Saves Provide excellent protection and flexes and forms to your hand for maximum protection against injury. Quickly remove them for a lighter more flexible glove!

PALM STYLE Negative Cut, Precision Fit

CUT: Negative Cut Gloves with latex gussets for increased catching zone in a Negative Cut Palm. Design to fit the contours of your hand, the Negative Cut will give you maximum feel for the ball.

WRIST Adjustable Double Elastic Wrist Strap

Double Elastic Wrist Strap with Glove ID Box for Name Personalization. With a built in Tug Strap to help get the glove on and secure it tightly to your hand.

BACKHAND Ultra Lightweight Flex-Dry Backhand

Poly Composite Lightweight Backhand with Dual Layer Punch Zone increases the durability of the glove, while providing extra cushion to soften catches.

The Quantum EXO Lockdown is designed to be a Precise Fitting glove that will open up half a size if the finger saves are removed.

Glove Size Guidelines  

  • Goalkeeping Gloves should be worn slightly larger than hands
  • Fingers SHOULD NOT be touching the tip of the gloves
  • Removing Finger Protection will make a glove 1/2 size larger.
  • Reverse/Negative glove cuts are a snugger fit, so it's often best to go a size up if on the border.
  • If you have a larger frame/build, your palm may be larger, requiring a larger glove. Just email us, we are here to help!

How To Measure Your Hands:

Option 1:  Measure the circumference of the widest part of the palm measure the circumference of the widest part of the palm including the thumb. Round up to the next highest inch.

Option 2: ; Measure the length of the hand from tip of the middle finger to the base of the large thumb area where the keeper's thumb meets the wrist. Round up to the next highest inch.

Example:  7.5" rounds up to 8", so a 7 3/4 around hand is a size 8 glove.

Washing Your Gloves  

  • Immerse Gloves Completely with Warm Water (never hot)
  • Put Quarter Size Amount of Glove Wash on Each Palm
  • Work it in on the palm thoroughly, rinsing occasionally
  • Repeat if Neccessary
  • Add Same amount of Glove Wash INSIDE Glove and Water
  • Rinse until no bubbles are seen.
  • Wring Dry Removing All Excess Water
  • Hang Dry (do not put onto heat or in direct sunlight to dry)

Why Use Glove Wash  

  • Most Soaps contain Moisturizers which can harm gloves, West Coast Glove Soap is designed specifically for Gloves
  • Sweat & Dirt Break down your gloves, without cleaning them they won't last as long
  • Washing your gloves restores the grip, bringing back the grip
  • Washing your gloves softens them and makes them more comfortable
  • Dude the Smell... No one wants funky Gloves!

Nice looking but are not wearing as good as previous pairs
Hi Anthony, That is because this is a negative cut. There is a note about this in the glove description 'NOTE- Negative cut gloves can wear faster, especially in fingertips. This is due to lack of overhang on the backhand and are highly recommended for keepers with advanced technique.'
