Raptor Typhoon

The all new Raptor Typhoon, the first glove in our new non-finger save Raptor series. This glove is very lightweight and flexible, featuring an all Exo-Skin backhand with a silicone punch zone. The Raptor Typhoon also features an all new cut, our BioClaw Hybrid! The BioClaw is a blend of our very popular BioHybrid and Negative Cut, giving you a natural precurve to grip the ball as well as a narrow fit through the fingers. This Raptor also features a durable Cyan German Supreme Latex, and an optional double elastic wrist strap that can be used for extra wrist protection.

Please note that the Raptor Typhoon does not feature finger saves and does not feature a finger save pocket.  It is also a very lightweight style and negative cut glove that will wear MUCH faster than other gloves, due to its ultralight backhand!

GRIP 4mm German Supreme Plus Cyan Latex

Grip:This glove features our durable and tacky Supreme Plus Latex. This latex is great for any weather or climate, but will especially excel on those wet rainy days. We suggest dampening the palms before use to get the best results.

FINGER PROTECTION NO FINGER or THUMB PROTECTION

Finger Protection:  This is a lightweight glove and does not include a finger save pocket or accept any finger or thumb protection. We recommend taping your fingers or wrist if needed with our tape!

PALM STYLE Negative BioHybrid Claw Cut

Cut: The Raptor series features our new "Claw" cut, which is a combination of the BioHybrid and Negative Cut. Each finger features mesh gussets on the bottom half of the fingers like the BioHybrid, yet features a tight stitch on the tip of the finger just like a Negative Cut.

INTERNAL SILICONE GRIP Internal Silicone Gel Grip

Internal Silicone Gel uses the heat of your hands to help keep your hand in place and prevent slipping for a great catch and a perfect fit

WRIST Strap Optional

Wrist: An Optional Double Elastic Wrist Strap is included for additional support if you desire.  The Wrist Strap can also have Glove ID added to it.  Over time the glove will open up in the wrist area or when wet and the Wrist Strap will help with additional support.

BACKHAND Lightweight Exo-Skin Backhand

Backhand: Featuring a Lightweight Exo-Skin backhand, this glove is very light and very flexible. Paired with a silicone punch zone.

FIT Incredibly Flexible and Lightweight

Fit:One of the lightest gloves we have ever made. This glove is very light and very flexible, and will give you a great feel for the ball.

Glove Size Guidelines

  • Goalkeeping Gloves should be worn slightly larger than hands
  • Fingers SHOULD NOT be touching the tip of the gloves
  • Removing Finger Protection will make a glove 1/2 size larger.
  • Reverse/Negative glove cuts are a snugger fit, so it's often best to go a size up if on the border.
  • If you have a larger frame/build, your palm may be larger, requiring a larger glove. Just email us, we are here to help!
  • Contact@WestCoastGoalkeeping.com is great for any questions

How To Measure Your Hands:

Option 1:  Measure the circumference of the widest part of the palm measure the circumference of the widest part of the palm including the thumb. Round up to the next highest inch.

Option 2: ; Measure the length of the hand from tip of the middle finger to the base of the large thumb area where the keeper's thumb meets the wrist. Round up to the next highest inch.

Example:  7.5" rounds up to 8", so a 7 3/4 around hand is a size 8 glove.

New Glove Day!

I picked these up on Black Friday but I managed to hold off until the start of my outdoor season to break them out, which was yesterday. This is my fourth pair of West Coast gloves but it's my first time with this style of palm. I was a little worried once I had the plastic off and gave them a wash, they're definitely snug and the palms are definitely... blue! Come game time all worries were put to rest. They feel really natural during play, like you're barehanded but better, and the grip is probably the best I've ever had. I wound up making a couple holds that I don't think I would have made otherwise. Looking forward to the rest of the season with these. I didn't find the straps to be necessary but that may change as I wear them more.

Good quality and great fit

Got these for my son. Sized just right and the quality was far better than what I expected. He’s still learning how to clean and maintain them for long life.
