Incredibly great gloves

I love everything about these. Fantastic grip. Padding is very effective at absorbing the force of ball impact. The rigidity of the finger guards are calibrated to my taste, but if you don't like them they're quite easy to remove. The velcro holds well, and the hooks are small enough that they won't quickly fray the loops. On the inside, the texture that contacts your fingertips encourages the glove to move with your fingers when you clench, rather than your fingers scrunching up inside the glove. The Mexico-related design strikes the perfect equilibrium between being interesting without being too distracting. The only con is that you need to meticulously remove the plastic that's stitched into the palms, but the few minutes you spend doing that is worth the performance you'll earn from the plastic having preserved the gripping surface. Sizing was accurate. Time will tell if they hold up well to indoor turf, but I'm already confident that they'll last more than twice as long as gloves that cost half the price. I'm officially done burning through mediocre gloves that cost $25-$30 per pair; West Coast gloves are a much better value over time, not to mention a giant improvement in performance.
